Why do Zapier Bubble API endpoints use thing ID's instead of its display name?

Zapier Bubble API endpoints use thing IDs instead of its display name. We understand that this is inconsistent with the Data API. While we are working to address it, as a workaround, you can go to settings → API to check the “Use field display instead of ID for key names” setting.
